Blackcurrant, Mascarpone, Shortbread

Blackcurrant and mascarpone are quite a popular pairing seen in desserts such as cake and macaron, but surprisingly, not in ice cream. So we thought, let's use them to create a fun flavour. And so we tested and tested until we got 'Blackcurrant Mascarpone Pie' -- an incredibly creamy and fruity ice cream.

Blackcurrant is one of those fruits that have a unique taste, a berry with a hint of grape. Blackcurrant itself has a dark violet colour. However, when combined with mascarpone, the two create a beautiful and vibrant purple mixture. Mascarpone adds a pleasant creaminess, making the ice cream light and smooth, with an intense berry flavour. To mimic an actual blackcurrant mascarpone pie, we fold in pieces of shortbread. A fruity, rich, and buttery decadent we can't wait for you to try.
