Intro to Clay (5-week class)

Exploring handbuilding & wheel-throwing techniques and skills. 

Class schedule : Tue, Thu, Sat 13.00-17.00. 4-hour session/ week, 5 consecutive weeks.

Level : Suitable for beginners 13yrs or older. No experience necessary.

Price : 9,900 THB/person 

Intro to Clay is a 5 week course designed for those with little to no experience, but is open to all levels. Learn and try a variety of clay techniques, including the basics of hand-building and throwing.

Week 1 : Basic of handbuilding.

Week 2 : Learning how to throw basic forms.

Week 3 : Learning how to trim, join handles & style your pieces.

Week 4 : Painting techniques.

Week 5 : Learning how to glaze your pieces.

Fees & class schedule : Class fees cover instructed class time (as listed in specific class schedule), use of tools and equipment, studio glazes and firing up to 10 kgs of clay. Additional work may be fired for a fee.

* When signing up for Intro to Clay 5-week classes, one signs up by selecting (signing up for) the 1st class. Classes 2-6 will occur on a weekly cadence during the same day of the week and time-slot.

** The post event process typically takes between 3-4 weeks. All finished work will be dishwasher, microwave and food safe.

*** All finished pieces need to be picked up within 2 months of the pick up date unless pieces are discarded and non-refundable.

Week 1 : เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับดิน พื้นฐานการปั้นดินด้วยมือ ด้วยเทคนิคต่างๆ

Week 2 : เรียนรู้การปั้นดินด้วยแป้นหมุน เป็นรูปทรงอย่างง่าย

Week 3 : เรียนรู้การตัดแต่ง ออกแบบ และประกอบชิ้นงาน

Week 4 : เรียนรู้การลงสีด้วยเทคนิคต่างๆ

Week 5 : เรียนรู้การเคลือบชิ้นงาน

* ราคานี้รวมบริการอบเคลือบชิ้นงานแล้ว ใช้เวลาประมาณ 3-4 สัปดาห์ สามารถนำชิ้นงานใส่เครื่องล้างจาน, ไมโครเวฟได้ 

** โปรดมารับชิ้นงานที่เสร็จแล้ว ภายใน 2 เดือนหลังจากวันที่ชิ้นงานเสร็จ หากหลังจากนั้นทางร้านจะนำไปทำประโยชน์กับสังคมต่อไป
